Face Yoga is a unique and natural method of looking and feeling healthy, glowing and youthful. With its help we can turn back the clock! It is a combination of body postures, facial exercises, massage, acupressure and relaxation techniques that tone, shape, smooth and relax your face, and improve your overall wellbeing by unfolding the very best version of yourself.
I met the concept of this holistic facial workout, called Face Yoga and I fell in love with it straight away. I have been practising yoga for many years, and looked after my body from neck downwards. I also practised meditation and mindfulness, so my mind, "the inside of my head" was taken care of.
But what about the outside? From my neck upwards, my head and face missed the same loving attention and thorough care.
The answer is Face Yoga. Exercises that do the same result to the face what yoga does to the body.
A completely natural alternative to anti-aging and stress releasing remedies.
I love it and my face too!
The exercises, whose origins are rooted in ancient Eastern cultures, and developed by modern facial expert beauty therapists, are based on a simple principle - the muscles of the face are no different from the muscles of the rest of the body.
If you don't exercise the muscles below the neck, they become weak and flabby and the same thing will happen to your face with age.
Basically, the body surrenders to gravity.
Under the skin there are those muscles that move the face and they are attached to the three layers of the skin, hypodermis, dermis and epidermis.
In dermis, collagen and elastin are produced, who are responsible for the elasticity and the supportive structure of the skin. As we age the production of these important proteins decreases.
When we move the muscles under the skin, blood flow and circulation is boosted which results in more oxygen and nutrients to the skin, which then enhances collagen and elastin production.
We move our facial muscles unconsciously throughout the day. The same movement is repeated over and over again in a certain direction, the skin will form an expression line or indentation. That will lead to wrinkles.
However, they can be softened or even vanished when the facial muscles are relaxed and the repetitive movements (bad facial habits) are corrected.
By practising the yoga-like poses you become aware of your facial movements and expressions, and you learn how to separately tone, lift or relax those 57 muscles beneath the facial skin and target any areas. that you would like to improve.
We combine the poses with conscious breathing, so facial circulation and blood flow increases which results in a more youthful and radiant complexion and greater sense of self-confidence.
Health and glow inside and out!
Face Yoga offers an easy, safe and effective solution to help women and men turn back the clock and have beautiful, young-looking skin, a natural glow inside and out.

What do you need for a session?
Mirror, hairband, a pencil, water, your favourite cream or oil
Your laptop has to be put in a stable place where the screen is vertical and it is in front of your eyes. So you don’t need to bend down to look at the screen. Tablets or phones are good too, but needs to be stabilised as vertical as can be.

Vocal coaching - with Face & Voice Yoga
Inspired by Face Yoga exercises and my long years' experience of vocal teaching I created exercises that result in clearer, more confident speech, and relax, refresh and revive the tired voice.
I recommend them for anyone who wants to improve their speaking or singing.

If certain muscles lie dormant, then other muscles on the opposite side are overworking. It results in tiredness and tightness in voice production. Another huge benefit of Face & Voice Yoga is that we can re-balance the muscle activity; we activate the dormant ones and relax the tired, overworked ones. Eventually all our parts will find the right amount of work, and whatever our intention would be, (singing, speaking, free breathing - no snoring!) it becomes easy, balanced and will feel more effortless.
